This studio apartment building is located extremely close to the University of Kentucky on the Northeast side of campus at the intersection of Rose Lane and Aylesford Place. It is across the street from university property and just down the hill from the W.T. Young Library. Each unit is a Studio that is approximately 410 sq. ft. with one extra large room with two closets, a full eat-in kitchen and a bathroom. Most residents have enough room to set up a full bed, dresser, desk and a living area with a couch, TV, etc. The flooring is plush carpet in the main area and either linoleum or ceramic tile in the kitchen & bathroom.

The complex consists of two identical buildings, 422 & 424 Aylesford Place, each with eight units.  The units are painted as needed and thoroughly cleaned between residents.  Smoking and pets are not allowed. Heating and A/C is by a through-the-wall hotel room style unit. One parking space is included (sticker is $25/year) per unit in the paved and well-lit parking lot.

These units are not perfect but they are nice, clean and kept in good repair.  New windows were installed in August of 2015. They are ideal for individuals or couples who desire to live effectively on UK's campus.
